Emanuele Ledda

Emanuele Ledda received a BSc Degree in Computer Science, with honours, from the University of Cagliari in September 2019. Then he received his MSc Degree in Computer Science, with honours, from the University of Cagliari in September 2021 discussing the thesis entitled “Analysis of synthetic training images for deep-learning-based crowd counting models”, whose preliminary experiments have been published at the 19th International Conference on Computer Analysis of Images and Patterns (CAIP2021) in a paper entitled “How realistic should synthetic images be for training crowd counting models?”.  

 

From March to August 2020, he collaborated with the PRA Lab on the field of intelligent video surveillance.

 

Since November 2021 he is a PhD student in Artificial Intelligence from Roma La Sapienza, with the University of Genova as a consortiated institution. Now he collaborates with the PRA Lab on his research activity.

 

Research Interests: Video surveillance, Image processing.
