Face Verification - EBGM
The tool performs the operation of a system for verification of identity based on facial recognition. Such systems replace traditional methods of recognition based on PIN or password (ATM). During the recording (off-line), similar to the issue of the PIN to stop ATM, the user releases its image which is built on the biometric template, produced in this demo from a reticular a graph where each node contains information on local characteristics of the face itself. Face recognition - EBGM
Here we show an application of an identity recognition system based on face biometrics using the EBGM technique. The system works in two distinct modalities: enroll and recognition. During the enroll stage the tool acquires, process' and stores a set of biometric data belonging to the user. The system enrolls a user with just one photo of  his/her face, this is done with a processing phase during which a set of distinctive features is extracted. Read more...

Face Quality Assessment.
Nowadays there are several technologies which allow to detect objects inside an environment. Nevertheless, mainly the uncontrolled acquisition of faces involves problems (focusing the target, keeping right illumination conditions, identifying best facial poses). This application implements an innovative set of methods and algorithms, which are able to perform the assessment of faces captured from a certain subject, based on their quality. Read more...
