Daniele Muntoni

Daniele Muntoni graduated in Eletronic Engineering in 2002 arguing the thesis "Analisi e Sviluppo di Tecniche per la Combinazione di Algoritmi di Classificazione Automatica" ("Analysis and Developement of Techniques for the Fusion of Automatic Classification Algorithms"), an applied study on Multiple Classifiers Sistems.

During his five years working experience on developing Pattern recognition software he focussed on applications for personal identity verification through biometric systems. His career started in England as a Software Engineer and continued in Italy within the DIEE of University of Cagliari.

In 2004 joins the PRA group as a fellow member. His tasks cover the developement and maintenace of software and support for research activities. His main field of expertise is Multimodal Biometrics through face recognition, fingerprint verification and extraction and processing of ancillar informations.
