Biagio Freni

Biagio Freni received the MSc degree in Electronic Engineering in October 2006 arguing the thesis "Identificazione Personale Mediante Impronte Digitali Basata su Tecniche di Apprendimento Semi-Supervisionato" (Fingerprint Personal Identification by Semi-Supervised Learning). He started his study in the Faculty of Engineering at University of Messina where he completed the first two years. In 1998 he moved at University of Cagliari and completed his study as part-time student.

In march 2007 he joined the Departmentof Electrical and Electronic Engineering at University of Cagliari,Italy, as PhD student of the Pattern Recognition and Applications Group directed by Prof. Fabio Roli.

Since april 2008 is hosted as scholar research at Pattern Recognition and Image Processing Lab at Michigan State University directed by Prof. Anil K. Jain.
