Cagliari
Cagliari is the Sardinia's chief town, located in in the middle of Golfo degli Angeli, in the southern border of the island. Spreading along an area sloping down twords the sea, Cagliari is mainly a seaside town. The Poetto beach extends over 7 kilometers of finest sands, representing a unique natural wonder.

Currency: According to the Monetary Union, the official currency is the Euro.
Banks: Banks are opened from Monday to Friday, from 08.30 to 13.30 and some of them again in the afternoon from 15.00 to 16.30. Banks are closed on Saturday and Sunday.
Electricity: Voltage in Italy is 220 volts - 50 Hz. Foreign appliances could require an adapter.
Tips: Service is usually included in the bill in bars and restaurants, but tips are welcomed.
